Cristine's Bosties quilt top
Narrow black border to be added

I’m almost done with the quilt top for Cristine’s Bosties. I need to add a narrow border in black, then do a pillowcase top finish and tie. I expect to have the quilt completed this weekend. I’m trying to decide whether to give the quilt to my housekeeper next week or wait until after I’ve shown off the quilt at the Sacramento Modern Quilt Guild meeting on Saturday the 15th.

The design for the Habitat challenge in still in my head. I asked my daughter-in-law Laurie to draw some birds, and she gave me a bunch to choose from. Thanks, Laurie! The Habitat challenge is due on October 15th, but I don’t expect the wallhanging to take long.

The frog quilt is still in my head, as well. It is due near the end of October, but I think this quilt will go together quickly since it’s made up of scrappy squares.

I can’t forget about Wavy Irish Chain, which needs a border, then finishing. I bought a nice bright green with small black polka dots for the border. Leftovers can go in the frog quilt, as well.

  2. The way you contrasted the colours looks great with that pattern. It's so crisp. Great work!
