I'm catching a train for Southern California in a couple of hours, and I don't have time to post photos or much detail at this moment. However, I wanted to mention two recent WIP finishes: David's Plaids, finished Sunday; Jennifer's Fairies, finished Wednesday. Both quilts were for co-workers who retired yesterday.
Along with Sweet and Sour--for yet another co-worker who retired yesterday--that makes three quilts from scratch in 30 days. I'm tired. :)
I'm headed to Long Beach, CA to get a body scan for personalized clothing patterns by Unique Patterns. This will update my measurements from 7 years ago. I have to be back on Sunday to play the piano at church, so I'm turning right around and coming back Saturday. I hope to visit the ship the Queen Mary while I'm in Long Beach. This will be a quick trip but I'll have fun.
I'll post photos and details about the quilts when I return.

I love to travel and I own a car, but I am afraid to drive in heavy traffic. So I often use public transportation to visit big cities. I don't just go on trips--I have adventures!
