I have a busy weekend ahead. Tomorrow I'll be heading to Santa Clara with quilting friend Judy P. to Pacific International Quilt Festival. As usual we'll catch the ACE commuter train from Lathrop to Great America. Once off the train it's a short walk to the quilt show. I'm looking forward to seeing hundreds of beautiful quilts, doing a little shopping, and spending time with my friend.
On Saturday I'll leave in the early morning for my monthly Sacramento Modern Quilt Guild meeting. When the meeting finishes around noon I'll grab some lunch and head back home to the craft fair at my church which will be already in progress. Friend Lena R. plans to meet me there. I'll have some quilts on display and we'll get to enjoy the work of other crafters.
Whoo! That's a lot - for me, anyway. Tons of fun in store.

I love to travel and I own a car, but I am afraid to drive in heavy traffic. So I often use public transportation to visit big cities. I don't just go on trips--I have adventures!
