After several weeks delay, I finally started sewing my housekeeper Cristine’s quilt. Tonight I began creating triangles with Mimi Shimp’s Triangle Paper. I love that stuff! You just pin the paper to a couple of pieces of fabric, sew on the printed dotted lines, then cut on the solid ones. Tear away the paper, press open and voila! You’ve got pieced triangles. It’s so quick and easy.
One paper pattern makes 12 half square triangle units which finish at 4”. I need 32 units, so I’m sewing 3 paper patterns’ worth. I got two paper patterns sewn up tonight and I’ll finish the third one tomorrow night.
